Addo, The African King is a documentary filmed in East Africa revolving around the life of one lion, Addo. We first see Addo as a cub, and follow him throughout the lessons of life. When his father is overtaken by younger lions Addo is expelled from the pride and left on his own. Eventually the time comes for Addo to take over his own pride by expelling the incumbent male. It is a full circle story that captures the essence of wildlife filming.
